Parenthood casts shadow over adultery - shock report

Research has shown that becoming a father is likely to damp down your philandering.  Scientists say it is down to the testosterone changes in the body.  A study has shown that having a child makes a man more interested in parenting than being unfaithful – duh!  The biggest drop was amongst dads who took a more ‘hands on’ approach to fatherhood – the sort that we would normally call ‘good parents’.  The test group was a bunch of Filipino men in their early 20’s who had samples taken of their saliva before and after becoming parents. The scientists discounted lack of sleep and stress for the reduction in libido.   This effect does not however last forever and in a few years the men were as randy as ever and ready for some nookie – hurrah!!
