Murder most foul

Murder most foul

It seems that the most awful murders these days are rooted in sex and infidelity.  This week the tragic story unfolded of Robin and Diana Garbutt in Blackburn who run a post office - how banal a setting!   It seems that Robin was not up to the task in the bedroom and was unhappy pleasing his wife in the room above the shop.  She in turn 'sought comfort from other men' and he eventually murdered her quite brutally.

The interesting thing in all of this is that on the surface they seemed like a nice happy couple, happily chattering in the shop whilst she made sandwiches and he sold stamps.  They went on happy holidays and neighbours thought they were an ideal couple.  So it goes to show how little you can see on the surface.
