Brits enjoy a bit of nookie in the car

Brits enjoy getting a bit of nookie in the car, with 54 per cent admitting to indulging in car sex.

That is according to research by online car retailer Autoquake, which found that of those who have had sex in a car, 22 per cent said it was a "fantastic experience".

The survey also found that people over the age of 55 found the idea of having sex in the car least objectionable.

Dermot Halpin, chief executive officer of the car company, said: "We're surprised that so many of drivers have used their cars as mobile bedrooms, and impressed that the older generation are leading the way."

Autoquake went on to compile the best cars to have sex in, suggesting that Mercedes-Benz e-Class Wagon was best because of its huge cargo area.

Car sex may be a good idea for people currently enjoying the benefits of an adulterous relationship, as it is much cheaper than a hotel room.

However, those planning on having a bit on the side in their car should make sure the car is in a stationary position and is in a concealed spot.
