Tourism in England has improved dramatically over the last few years, so it could be an option for a weekend getaway for those enjoying the benefits of an adulterous relationship.

James Berresford, chief executive officer of VisitEngland, claims that an increasing number of people are discovering what England has to offer.

Mr Berresford made these comments at the International Centre for Responsible Tourism's conference.

He said: "People are genuinely discovering that there is a fabulous product here in England. People are certainly going to be easily swayed in future, having experienced the great English product. That may be on a short break or on a longer holiday.

"The depth and richness of our product has dramatically improved over the last 15 years."

So those looking to have a bit of nookie with their extra-marital lover could do so on a weekend break in England, as they can enjoy a romantic getaway without having to venture too far from home.
