Unfaithful couples looking to take their adulterous relationship abroad may like to consider New York.

This is because the city has something to offer everyone, meaning that there will be activities to suit all personality types.

Tina Banarjee, editor of travel content provider Columbus Travel Media, revealed that there are a number of tourist attractions opening in 2011, so this year could be a good time to visit the Big Apple.

She said: "The city genuinely offers something for all visitors from chic nightspots, distinctive neighbourhoods, iconic landmarks, world-class museums and galleries to cutting-edge theatre, fabulous restaurants and trendy hotels."

Ms Banarjee added that a number of affordable hotels have sprung up in Brooklyn, which is an area that has become more popular with tourists.

This could be an option for those having a secret affair, as people can enjoy a trip to New York without raising suspicion from hefty hotel bills.
