Jenny Caven, a Slimming World spokeswoman, claims that a strict detox may lead people to "fall of the wagon".

She said: "The most successful way to lose weight sustainably is to swap unhealthy foods for healthier alternatives and to fill up to satisfy your appetite with basic everyday foods like plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables ... while limiting, but not cutting out completely, alcohol, fast foods, convenience meals and snacks like crisps, biscuits and chocolate."

Those looking for an adulterous relationship may also want to consider getting a good night's sleep, as researchers from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm found that well-rested people are considered more attractive than their tired counterparts.
