Take your extra-marital lover to the Green Hotel of the Year

Unfaithful people looking to take their extra-marital lover away for a romantic break may like to consider visiting the most environmentally-friendly hotel in the UK.

The The Langdale Hotel & Spa in the Lake District won the coveted Green Hotel of the Year Award at the annual Hotel Cateys.

This could present a good opportunity for those currently indulging in a secret affair, as they will be able to get a bit of nookie without having to worry about their carbon footprint.

Dan Visser, director of sales and marketing at The Langdale Estate, commented on the award and explained the ways in which the hotel is eco-firendly.

He said: "We always recycle anything we can back through a housing association to people that can't afford to furnish their own homes.

"As well as the normal recycling we do onsite as a matter of course, we do significant scale recycling of hundreds of sofas, televisions, chest of drawers, wardrobes, soft furnishings, to people that can't afford them."

So those looking to indulge in their adulterous relationship for a weekend could stay at the Langdale, as they will feel good from getting a bit of nookie and from knowing they are helping the environment.
