'Chill out' in Prague with an extra-marital lover

Those currently enjoying the benefits of a secret affair may like to consider taking their extra-marital lover to Prague after Christmas.

As many people within adulterous relationships will be unable to see their bit on the side over the festive season, taking them on a weekend getaway could be the perfect opportunity to "chill out" and get a bit of nookie.

Sylvie Taborova, project manager at CzechTourism, claims that New Year's is the perfect time to visit Prague.

She said: "Prague after Christmas is relatively quiet, so visitors can enjoy its atmosphere and sights even more than in high season. Yes – it is ideal to chill out after the busy time before Christmas.

"And of course St Valentine's Day - what more romantic city than Prague can you think of?"

A trip to Prague will also be kind on the post-Christmas finances, as a recent report by hotel.info found that the average hotel room in the Czech capital will cost only 65 euros (£54.40) per night.
