Women seeking a bit on the side should wear their hair in plaits

Unfaithful women looking for a bit on the side during the forthcoming party season should consider styling their hair with plaits.

That is because plaits offer an easy option from going between work and parties, suggests Alison Dace, hair guru at high street salon Saks.

Ms Dace claims plaits offer an easy transition between the office and nights out and that they are stylish hairstyle that is in fashion this season.

She said: "Bulk them out with lots of false hair. Wear hair down or just tied back in a ponytail during the day, then pop into the staff toilets and pop in some plaits.

"Then scoop them all up high on top of the head, and twist it into a knot or bun."

Recent research by The Clothes Show Live found that 51 per cent of women spend more money on themselves at Christmas than they do on others, with the most popular indulgence being a Christmas party dress.
