Men should consider their mistress' taste when Christmas shopping

Adulterous men looking to buy their mistress something special this Christmas should think about what she might like, rather than choosing something they will like.

Patricia Davidson, author of The Shopaholic's Top 1000 Websites and founder of thesiteguide.com, claims that men need to be re-educated in the art of buying gifts for women.

She said: "They need to wipe off the idea that they are buying something that they like.

"They should think of the person they are buying for in terms of what they like doing, what their style is, what their hobbies are, their dress style, what they like to read; all of those things and then buy according to that."

Ms Davidson added that men should make a list of ideas and they should not buy something for their lover on a whim.

According to research by Sainsbury's Gift Cards, the most common mistake made by men is to assume something is nice just because it costs a lot, followed by buying something they would want for themselves.
