Office party good time for playing away from home?

The office Christmas party could offer the perfect opportunity for playing away from home, as many people expect that they will fail to make it home.

Recent research by LateRooms.com revealed that 23 per cent of workers admit they will end up sleeping in a colleague’s bed instead of attempting the journey home.

It also found that 91 per cent of those asked said they would consider booking a hotel in which to stay after a night of revelry.

A spokesperson for the discount hotel specialist said: "It seems as though the British workforce gets themselves into quite a conundrum when it comes to their Christmas party shenanigans.

"We hope that this year people learn from their mistakes and make sure they look at all possibilities before trying to struggle home."

So the office party could be the perfect time to indulge in a bit of nookie with an extra-marital lover, as you will have a great excuse to give your spouse as to why you won't be home.
