People have more sex on holiday

Those looking to get away with their extra-marital lover may be pleased to hear that they will probably have more sex than they do normally.

A new survey by sunshine.co.uk found that Brits have sex ten times more when they are on holiday compared to when they are at home.

This may not come as a surprise to those who are having a secret affair, as a holiday can provide a great opportunity to indulge in a bit of nookie away from suspecting partners.

One option for a romantic getaway could be the Tunisian island of Djerba, which is beginning to emerge as a top destination for British travellers.

Ffion Davies, press attache for the Tunisian National Tourist Office, claims that the destination is becoming more popular because of the luxury it offers.

She said: "In Tunisia you've got just over 40 spa centres focusing on thalasso therapy, out of those 40, 18 are based in Djerba.

"That's what makes it a nice retreat if you want a luxurious getaway. It's a new destination for Britain."
