Ronan Keating apologises for secret affair

Ronan Keating has publicly apologised to his wife over the secret affair he had earlier this year.

The Boyzone frontman wrote on his new album cover a letter of apology to Yvonne, who forgave his adulterous relationship with backing dancer Francine Cornell.

It emerged in May that the Love is a Rollercoaster singer was not just getting a bit of nookie with Ms Cornell, but that the pair were also emotionally involved.

In a heartfelt bid to win back his wife, he wrote: "You are the most incredible, inspirational woman I have ever met. For the mistakes I have made in my life, I am sorry.

"You have to go there to come back. It was a dark place and you were the light to bring me back. I love you."

Since it emerged that cheating Keating had been playing away from home, the couple have been working on a reconciliation while the singer films the Australian version of the X-Factor down under.

The couple have been married for 12 years and have three children together.
