Women looking to get a bit of nookie with an extra-marital lover have been given some top tips on how to pick up a bit on the side.

A recent article on Yahoo! Personals suggests that there are several things a woman can do to pick up a man - through advice given by men.

Perhaps the most obvious pick-up move is the subtle whisper in a prospective partner's ear.

However, this should not be anything of the sexy nature, but instead lean in close and use his name.

The article suggests that women smile because it is infectious and people are at their most attractive when they have a big grin on their face.
