LeAnn Rimes does not regret secret affair

Unfaithful LeAnn Rimes has revealed she has no regrets over her secret affair because it developed through love.

The How Do I Live singer explained during an exclusive interview on In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville that adulterous relationships happen all the time.

She said: "What happened is not who I am, period. But I do know how much I love him. So I've always said I don't live my life with regret. I can't."

It was revealed that Ms Rimes, now 28 years old, began having a bit of nookie with 37-year-old Eddie Cibrian while filming the Lifetime flick, Northern Lights.

Although Ms Rimes has been fairly vocal about her extra-marital affair, Mr Cibrian has, on the whole, remained quiet.

However, he too has defended his secret affair with his Can't Fight the Moonlight love.

He said: "The truth is that we're human beings. We make mistakes and we learn from them, but we're human. We fell in love."
