Darker hair shades 'more lustrous' this winter
3 Nov 2010
Unfaithful women looking for a bit of nookie this winter may want to consider dying their hair a darker shade as it could make them appear more "lustrous".Francesco Fontana, TONI&GUY international technical creative director, said that many celebrities are opting for darker tones because it is a good way to make a "bold and noticeable" change, while altering "the type of image they portray".
He said: "Going darker for autumn/winter is always a popular choice, deeper shades tend to enrich hair and make it appear more lustrous and healthy … Deeper shades elude a sense of sophistication and seriousness."
Mr Fontana added that brunette shades are "extremely tonal" this season and those looking to dye their hair should work with their complexion to create undertones of deep violet, indigo blue, orchid or hints of warm reds.
If this is carried out correctly, hair colour should be "indulgent and juicy" - and may lead to some indulgent and juicy sex.
