Belfast a cheap destination for married dating

People looking to take their extra-marital lover on a romantic trip away, but do not want to raise suspicion with their spouse by spending lots of money, should consider Belfast.

For a number of reasons, Belfast is an affordable weekend break destination, Fiona Ure, communications executive at the Belfast Visitor & Convention Bureau, has said.

Ms Ure claims Belfast is a cheap destination because there are a number of low cost airlines and regional airports, so an affordable break can be had. And once in the city, entertainment does not "break the bank".

She said: "Many of the city's popular restaurants and bars offer pre-theatre menus and dining deals, ensuring visitors can experience the best of local food without breaking the bank.

"Belfast boasts a great range of family-friendly attractions offering free entry, including the newly refurbished Ulster Museum, Belfast Castle [and] St Anne's Cathedral."

So should you have a suspicious partner, Belfast may be a good option as a place to take your secret affair, as you will not need to explain why you have spent lots of money.
