Survey finds 'orgasm gap' between men and women Both men and women who are involved in a secret affair may be interested to hear there is a gender gap between orgasms.

A survey in the US has found that men believe they are performing better while having a bit of nookie than they actually are.

The National Survey of Sexual Health and Behaviour found that while 85 per cent of men believe they have fully satisfied their partner following a sex session, only 64 per cent of women concurred.

Experts believe that this orgasm gap is due to men being happy to please themselves without making sure their partner has been brought to climax.

This may not come as a surprise to many women and may be one of the reasons for having an adulterous relationship.

Earlier this year, research commissioned by extra-marital dating site lovinglinks.com found that 60 per cent of married couples say taking their vows has ruined their sex lives.
