Cyprus a great destination for extra-marital lovers

People who are currently enjoying an adulterous relationship and want to take their extra-marital lover abroad may want to consider Cyprus.

That is because the country is "geared up" for British tourists, as there is good infrastructure and all the tourist areas are only a ten minute drive from "true Cyprus".

These are the comments of Maria McLaren, spokesperson at Pafilia Property, who was speaking at A Place in the Sun Live show at the Birmingham NEC.

She said: "The British like it there because of the scenery and it is all geared up for the British - there are a lot of hospitals there and there is a lot of infrastructure there. But you can drive ten minutes inland and you are in a typical village."

Ms McLaren added that the Paphos district was a particularly beautiful part of the island.

Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea and the earliest known human activity dates back to the tenth millennium BC.
