Women in their 40s have 'best sex'

Women in their 40s have the "best sex" because they are less concerned with their bodies and are more confident while indulging in a bit of nookie.

That is according to a survey by Top Sante magazine, which also found that a quarter of women in their 40s had enjoyed an extra-marital affair, compared to just 18 per cent of men.

The survey found that 80 per cent of women said they were more adventurous in the bedroom now than they were while they were in their 20s or 30s.

Nicola Down, editor of the magazine, said: "The real sexual adventure begins when the children are older or have left home and women have the body confidence and experience to enjoy sex more than ever before."

It was revealed that 68 per cent of women in their 40s are aware of which sex technique they enjoy most and half of these are not embarrassed to ask for it, the Daily Mail reports.

This may not come as surprise to women in their 40s currently embarking on an adulterous relationship as they are likely to be getting a bit of nookie on a more frequent basis.
