Entice an extra-marital lover with 'statement lips'

Unfaithful women could attract an extra-marital lover for a bit of nookie with "statement lips".

Makeup artist Jill McKay said that statement lips can create a high impact, but they must be carefully applied.

She said: "Moisten lips with balm, lightly sweep concealer over your lips then line lips with a nude lip liner in feathering strokes.

"Apply the lip colour with a firm lip brush carefully painting over the lip liner. If you love gloss and want to wear it with a strong lip colour, apply it only to the middle of the lower lip."

Ms McKay added that doing this will stop the colour from bleeding. She was also keen to mention that colour must be chosen depending on the undertones of the skin.

A recent report by hellomagazine.com revealed that the trend for red lipstick will be inescapable this season.

Similarly, fashion magazine Elle UK claims that berry colours, which Leighton Meester and Anna Friel have been sporting, are "bang on trend".
