Wearing heels doesn't help attract an extra-marital lover

Wearing heels doesn't help attract an extra-marital lover Women looking to get a bit of nookie from an adulterous relationship should not waste their time wearing high heels.

This is because a new study has found that men are oblivious to what women are wearing on their feet, even when they walk past them.

Researchers at Northumbria University used 3-D motion caption technology to film women walking, either in heels or flats.

Scientists looked at how heels change body posture, such as tilting the torso, creating the illusion of longer legs and a more prominent rear.

However, none of these factors had any significant impact upon men, with male observers being unable to tell between heeled and un-heeled women.

Study leader Dr Nick Neave said: "Women are spending money on high heels, which can be dangerous, presumably to make themselves look good and add to what nature has given them."

This may come as good news to many women looking for a bit on the side as they can now go out looking for an extra-marital lover in comfortable shoes knowing that prospective partners will not know the difference anyway.
