Men looking for a bit of nookie should 'lay back' Men who are looking for a bit of nookie from an extra-marital lover should take a more laid-back attitude to life as a new survey has found men who are less stressed are more attractive to women.

Researchers at the University of Abertay found men with low levels of stress hormones are significantly more attractive to women, meaning they are more likely to get sex.

Lead researcher Dr Fhionna Moore, a psychology lecturer at the institute, said: "We believe that the link between low stress levels and high attractiveness to women is because an ability to handle stressful situations suggests a strong genetic make-up, the future suitability of a partner, and their ability to pass on 'good genes' to their children."

The study findings were established by analysing hormone levels in young men and developed 'composite' images from typical faces.

These images were then shown to women who rated each image on its attractiveness levels.

So men looking for a bit on the side should learn to relax as this may lead to more women wanting to have sex with them.
