Daly and Kay 'moved on' after sex-text scandal

Tess Daly has "managed to move on" and has forgiven her husband Vernon Kay following the sex-text scandal that rocked their marriage.

Kay confessed to sending saucy text messages to 23-year-old glamour model Rhian Sugden in February this year, but wife Daly decided to forgive him for the sake of their two children.

However, in his first interview since the scandal, Kay has said he now knows not to take anything for granted.

He told the News of the World's Fabulous magazine: "When it all happened it was the first time that our personal lives were on the front pages. That was a real shock. But Tess and I dealt with it behind closed doors and we've managed to move on.

"We spoke to each other a lot. And it was really good … It was a very private situation, we've dealt with it and I'm proud of the fact we've done that."

Daly and Kay married in 2003 and will be celebrating their seventh wedding anniversary on September 12th.
