Beyonce still trusts her father following his secret affair

Beyonce appears to have forgiven her father for playing away from home behind her mother's back.

According to a statement posted on the singer's management website, she and her father are to continue to work together and have both a professional and a personal relationship.

The family was rocked earlier this year by the revelation that Mathew Knowles had an adulterous relationship with a US actress, from which a love child was born.

However, it appears that his cheating ways have been forgiven and that his famous daughter is still happy for him to be in charge of her career.

The statement said: "Contrary to false rumours online, Beyonce and her manager Mathew Knowles unequivocally have had and continue to have a close personal and business relationship. Mathew Knowles is the sole and exclusive manager of Beyonce."

Mr Knowles was accused of having an extra-marital affair with 38-year-old Alexandra Wright for 18 months.
