Men want more sex
2 Sep 2010
It is unsurprising that so many men decide to get a bit on the side as what most men want in bed is more sex. That is according to a new book by sex therapist Bettina Arndt, entitled What Men Want - In Bed, for which the author had 150 men write to her over the course of a year explaining what they wanted.
However wanting does not always necessarily mean getting, an in the majority of the cases studied, the man was not getting his sexual appetite fulfilled.
This may account for why a quarter of married people now admit to having an affair and that six out of ten married couples say their nuptials have taken the excitement out of sex, extra-marital dating website lovinglinks.com recently revealed.
A spokesperson for the company said: "A partner might be supportive, funny, intelligent, and kind, but if they don’t inspire confidence in the bedroom, or don't meet expectations sexually life can be frustrating.
"And it is at times like this when eyes start to wander.
"If sleeping with someone else spurs couples on to make more of an effort with each other that can only be a good thing."
