England football star Peter Crouch caught in infidelity?

Peter Crouch has been accused of scoring an own goal and getting caught out in an act of infidelity.

The England and Tottenham Hotspur striker reportedly found the back of the net with a teenage prostitute, much to the anger of fiancee Abigail Clancy.

According to the News of the World, Crouch paid 19-year-old Monica Mint £800 for encounters in the back of a taxi and in a cheap hotel.

He and Abbi have been engaged for more than a year and were scheduled to get married this summer, only for their plans to be interrupted by the World Cup.

This is the latest in a string of infidelity allegations to have rocked some of England's top football players over the past year.

Already, John Terry and Ashley Cole have been at the centre of infidelity scandals, although the Chelsea captain remains with his wife Toni.

It remains to be seen whether Abbey will be as forgiving of Peter's alleged indiscretions.
