Guernsey 'easily accessible destination' for secret affair

Those considering taking their extra-marital lover on a romantic trip could consider going to Guernsey as it is an "easily accessible destination" so adulterers will not have to worry about complicated travel plans.

There is also no need for currency conversion, meaning a suspicious spouse will not find foreign money on your return and begin asking questions.

Chris Elliott, director of marketing and tourism at VisitGuernsey, said: "Food is exquisite, there are some excellent museums to take in and from lazy days on the island’s beautiful beaches to exploring the rural interior, there’s an extraordinary range of things to keep you as much - or as little - busy as you like."

This may be an appealing destination for people who are currently indulging in a bit of nookie with their bit on the side, as there is sure to be something to do in between some inevitable bedroom antics.

According to the 2010 Marine Conservation Society’s Good Beach Guide, Guernsey has five recommended beaches; Cobo Village, L'Eree, Prot Soif Bay, Saint's Bay and Vazon.
