Jermain Defoe back with Chantelle Houghton?

Celebrity Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton appears to have gotten over her fears that Jermain Defoe would get a bit of nookie elsewhere if she were in a relationship with him.

The couple split over a year ago after it emerged that Houghton could not trust the footballer, possibly originating over rumours that Defoe had been playing away from home while in prior relationships.

Defoe and Houghton were spotted having a "romantic" meal together in St Albans, before stopping of in a service station on the way back to Defoe's house.

This may come as a surprise to Roxy Townsend, whom only a month ago proclaimed herself to be Defoe's girlfriend after she laid down the law over his adultery.

She told the Daily Mirror: "I told Jermain this was his last chance. I would forget about everything if he swore he would settle down.

"It worked. Now we have been together for eight months, which is one of the longest relationships he has ever had. I take that as a huge compliment."

Houghton also has a history of indulging in an adulterous relationship. Her relationship with Ordinary Boys singer Preston began while he was engaged to long-term girlfriend Camille.
