Will Prince William have a bit on the side?

Kate Middleton has been told that Prince William may well look to take a mistress in the future, should the pair get married.

These rumours surfaced after a picture was published by the National Enquirer showing Prince William smooching singer Natasha Hamilton four years ago – when he and Ms Middleton were an item.

According to the news provider, Middleton has been told by the Queen's advisors that she will have to accept her Prince playing away from home.

The tabloid claims that a royal advisor told Middleton: "It won't be if he does, my dear. It will be when he does - and then you must simply turn a blind eye."

A source added: "Kate is now being warned by royal courtiers that she must be prepared for William to follow in his philandering father's footsteps and take a mistress."

Prince William has had a relationship with Middleton since 2001 after the pair met at university. They briefly split in 2007 but got back together the same year.
