Women most attractive at 31

Women are most likely to be approached for a bit of nookie or an adulterous relationship when they are aged 31, as this when they are most attractive.

That is according to new research by shopping channel QVC, which surveyed over 2,000 men and women in celebration of July's Beauty Month.

The findings revealed that over half of the women surveyed said they feel more attractive as they get older because they "let go of insecurities and feel more beautiful".

Those enjoying the benefits of a secret affair may also be interested to hear that it is not just aesthetics that factor in when it comes to attractiveness.

Results showed that 70 per cent of respondents cited confidence as the most attractive trait, while looks and style came in second and third.

Sue Leeson from QVC said: "This research shows what many have always suspected – real beauty is about more than just good looks but a combination of confidence, style and personality too."

These findings support recent research which showed that women enjoy and have sex more when they are in their 30's and 40's.
