Wales a good place to take your extra-marital lover

Should you be thinking about taking your extra-marital lover away to fully indulge in your secret affair, Wales could be a good option.

As well as being unspoilt, beaches in Wales are mostly uncrowded, so could offer the perfect retreat away from prying eyes.

A spokesperson for Visit Wales said: "Our beaches are largely unspoilt and uncrowded, so they are ideal for visitors who want to relax and enjoy the views in an idyllic sandy bay, or hike around our coastal paths spotting nature and wildlife along the way."

However, she added that if the weather does not permit outdoor activities, there are many other things to do, such as shopping and dining.

A survey by YouGov recently revealed that 74 per cent of Welsh adults rated beaches in the country as good or excellent.

Sheffield Hallam University reported that beach resorts in Wales are worth more than £300 million a year to the Welsh economy.
