Tiger Woods cheating was good for golf

Tiger Woods's adultery has been a boost for the game of golf because of all the press coverage his playing away from home received.Welsh billionaire Sir Terry Matthews claimed that the golfer's adulterous relationships have meant that more people want to watch golf and see him play, the Mirror reports.
His comments were made ahead of the Ryder Cup which is set to kick off in October in the Celtic Manor resort.
Sir Matthews told the news provider: "It will be great for the Ryder Cup. He has got more publicity now than he has ever had. He is worth more now than he was before.
"Those people who didn't know about him before, know about him now. And more people will want to see him play golf. It is better to have coverage whatever it is for than no coverage."
This may come as good news to the golfing profession, as Woods is not the only pro golfer to have been found enjoying a secret affair.
Europe's Ryder cup team captain Colin Montgomerie was also recently found to be having a bit of nookie with an extra-marital lover.
