Tanned skin not a sexy feature on men

Men looking to win the affection of an extra-marital lover may be pleased to hear that most women do not consider tanned skin a sexy feature.

A survey commissioned by Cancer Research UK revealed that less than one per cent of women questioned said that sun tanned skin was the sexiest feature on a prospective bedroom buddy.

However, those looking for an adulterous relationship may want to consider a trip to the optician and dentist, as nice eyes and a good smile came in as the top two sexiest features, garnering 37 and 28 per cent of votes respectively.

A trip to the gym may also be in order as five per cent of women said that a pert bum was their favourite feature.

In fact, according to the research pale skin is in, which could be down to the abundance of vampire movies hitting the screens.

Caroline Cerny, from the charity said: "Vampire-mania has definitely hit the UK, and the stars are helping to bust the myth that you have to be tanned to be sexy. Cool skin has never been hotter!"

The study was conducted by YouGov and took into account 1,173 women across the UK.
