Women prefer a bit of nookie with clothes on

Half of women prefer sex with clothes on, so it is perfectly normal if you find your mistress stays clothed when having a bit of nookie.

A new survey has revealed that 48 per cent of women prefer to wear at least one item of clothing when having sex.

Research by MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk found that 54 per cent of those who like to don garments while enjoying bedroom antics did so because it improved body confidence.

Andy Barr, marketing director at the website, said: "The fact that such a large proportion of women claim to feel sexier with an item kept on suggests that, whilst body confidence might be low, clothes can really improve a woman's self-image."

Those enjoying an adulterous relationship may also find their mistress prefers the lights off, as 87 per cent of women cited this as a bedroom preference, Grazia reports.

The top items of clothing that women like to wear for a bit of nookie are negligee (60 per cent), a dress (36 per cent) and knickers (31 per cent).

A recent study also showed that women enjoyed sex more when they were in their 30s and 40s.
