John Terry's mistress says she is not a gold digger

John Terry's rumoured extra-marital lover Vanessa Perroncel said that she is not a gold digger before stripping of for a shoot with FHM magazine.

Doused in baby oil, the ex-girlfriend of Terry's team-mate Wayne Bridge told the men's magazine that she did not receive money for having sex with the former England captain.

Discussing the alleged secret affair, Perroncel said: "He [Terry] was my friend. I'd known him for eight years. I split up from Wayne and he was there for me."

"I was supposed to have had sex with him five times a week. It's just horrid."

The 34-year-old bikini model vehemently denies the rumours of a secret affair, saying that what she and Terry shared was a friendship.

Perroncel is now suing several publications over the rumours that the Chelsea player paid her.

Her lawyers have shown her bank statements to a district judge to prove that she has not received any payment, the Daily Mail reports.

Despite the continuous allegations, Terry and his wife Toni have remained together, supporting the growing trend of celebrity couples forgiving a cheating spouse.
