Landon Donovan's wife not surprised at secret affair

The wife of Landon Donovan has said she was not surprised that the US footballer fathered a love child from his adulterous relationship.

Although currently separated from her unfaithful spouse, actress Bianca Kajlich said that she was aware of the child and was completely supportive of Donovan, US Magazine reports.

A source told the news provider: "She was not blindsided by this and isn't angry."

The couple wed in 2006 and look set to join in the growing trend of celebrity couples that accept and forgive their spouse for having an extra-marital lover.

According to Yahoo sports, the actress had been tweeting support for her cheating husband during the FIFA World Cup and Donovan blew her a kiss during a sideline interview.

The footballer is quoted as saying: "We spoke last night. It was nice."

Landon Donovan is one of the few celebrities that admits to taking propecia, a hair loss drug.
