Getting a bit of nookie could save the planet

Those playing away from home may be interested to hear that their adulterous relationship could be helping to save the planet.A recent study by the Japanese Ministry of Environment found that 20 per cent of the country's electricity was used by people watching TV in the hours before bed, the Independent reports.
So instead of sitting up at night in front of the box, thinking about your extra-marital lover, getting in touch and arranging a discreet date may not only lead to a bit of nookie, but also to a greener planet.
As well as encouraging early nights, the Japanese government also launched another energy saving campaign that adulterers may be interested in.
Five years ago, officials encouraged office workers to wear short sleeves to work so that energy used on air conditioners could be reduced.
Those currently enjoying a secret affair with a co-worker may then want to consider wearing skimpier and more seductive attire to the office, as along with saving the world, you may well get your secret lover hot under the collar as well.
