Cyber-sex the future of extra-marital dating? Getting a bit of nookie online may be the ideal way to conduct an adulterous relationship because you are far less likely to get caught – all one needs to do is to navigate away from the chat page.

It would also fit in with a growing trend, as a new survey has revealed that 15 per cent of Brits get more sex online than they do in the bedroom.

Research by Mates SKYN Condoms revealed that despite the reserved stereotype, British people rank as some of Europe's most sexually uninhibited.

The findings were released to coincide with the launch of the company's new online game, SKYN It To Win It, which sees players taken through the seductive city of Randyville.

In a statement, the company writes: "You'll battle saucy cleaners with naughty trolleys and maintenance men with hard, shiny helmets.

"Encounter night-time shoppers with bulging bags of lingerie and promotional boys dripping in chocolate body paint … before finally meeting up with your partner and getting it on back at your love nest."

Winners of the game will be awarded with a free Mates SKYN condom sample, which could be used when spending time offline with an extra-marital lover.
