Thrill-seeking could lead to adulterous relationship in the office

Thrill-seeking could lead to adulterous relationship in the office Many extra-marital relationships begin life as an office romance because it is the place where people spend most of their time.

However, one expert claims that a secret affair in the office may start as a result of thrill-seeking tendencies, sify.com reports.

Psychiatrist Sanjay Chugh told the news provider: "It would be incorrect to say that they (thrill-seekers) are not scared about how it may impact their family and career.

"In most cases, they are very concerned that their extramarital affairs should not affect their 'normal' lives. They also take a lot of precautions.

Samir Parikh, consultant psychiatrist at Max Healthcare in New Delhi, said that a co-worker may become an extra-marital lover because both a physical and emotional attraction is developed.

Thrill-seekers may therefore look to the work-place to get a bit of nookie, but cautious adulterers may want to go elsewhere.
