Men explain why women enjoy playing away from home

Statistically speaking, men are more likely than women to be unfaithful; however, the gap between the genders is quickly closing, with more women opting to take an extra-marital lover.

The prevalence of male adulterers in the media, such as Tiger Woods, Ashley Cole and Ronan Keating, would suggest that the statistic is true, however asylum.com met four men who found otherwise.

The cuckolded men spoke to the website to explain whey their partners ended up enjoying a bit of nookie with another.

Cheated boyfriend Jesse told the news provider: "I learned that physical attraction is more powerful than I had given it credit for, and in the right circumstances anyone would cheat on their significant other."

Two of the men also revealed that they forgave their partners cheating ways, adding to the ongoing change that sees many couples staying together after the revelation of an adulterous relationship.

The news provider reveals that in terms of marital infidelity, 22 per cent of men take a mistress, whereas 14 per cent of women enjoy the company of an extra-marital lover.
