New technology means suspecting partners will be able to perform a reverse search on suspicious telephone numbers.

There are now a number of websites that people playing away from home should be wary of, as they claim to provide the name and address of mystery numbers, which could include that of an extra-marital lover.

Emailwire.com reports: "For people looking to identify the anonymous callers behind a phone number there is finally a way to do it without breaking the bank.

Every day thousands of people log onto the internet to try to find out who owns a phone number … [many] just want to figure out who that mysterious number belongs to they've seen on their spouse's caller ID."

People getting a bit of nookie from an adulterous relationship may, therefore, want to think again before tapping in their lover's number as a suspecting spouse could find out.
