'Switch off' to improve an adulterous relationship
18 Jun 2010
Our busy lifestyles are leaving us little time for the people we care about, such as an extra-marital lover, so it is advised that we leave our hectic ways of life to "make a difference to someone's happiness".Dr Pam Spurr life coach and happiness doctor said that people should switch off their mobile phones and take the time to tell someone important to them that they are cared about.
This could include a mistress that may be "feeling undervalued" because her partner is so short of time.
Dr Spurr said: "We are all very busy, we live 24/7, we don't switch off our Blackberry's maybe when we should do and we're very time short.
"I think that leaves a lot of people thinking 'I'm sure they care about me but they never say it'."
Her comments were made in regards to recent research by Aviva that found despite tough times, 64 per cent of people are happier now than they were five years ago.
This improved happiness could be the result of an extra-marital lover, so adulterers should make sure they take sufficient time to tell their bit on the side that they are cared for and valued.
