No-one appears 'teed-off' that Montgomerie was unfaithful

While the media went into overdrive after it emerged Tiger Woods had been playing away from home, there remains very little interest in Colin Montgomerie's admission of infidelity.

According to golf blogger Ryan Ballengee, both the press and public have given the British pro's marital adultery minimum attention.

Writing on the US blog site waggleroom.com, Mr Ballengee suggests that the disinterest could be due to that fact that, unlike Woods, Montgomerie only had one mistress - and she was an old flame at that.

"Almost in the sense that few people seemed particularly bothered about Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles in (very obvious) cahoots, Monty has fallen into the arms of a familiar woman," he writes.

Even the man in question, has shrugged off the adultery revelation faster than he can score a hole in one.

He told reporters at Celtic Manor resort in Wales over the weekend that he did not think the admission will affect his role as captain at the Ryder Cup "one little bit".
