Ladies' man Tom Jones says boy band cheaters are 'not unusual'
4 Jun 2010
If Ronan Keating and Mark Owen were facing any degree of public backlash following revelations of their infidelities, it may soon be water under the bridge.Giving them a welcome boost of support, music legend Tom Jones has backed the celebrity cheaters, telling the Daily Star that they just have to "ride the storm".
The Welsh lethario, who is a self-confessed ladies' man and has himself been hit with allegations of adultery in the past, even sympathises with the temptations musicians face while on tour.
"Unfortunately it can happen when you're on the road. It's not premeditated.
"Sometimes things go further than they're supposed to, but it's no-one else's business," Jones told the news provider, perhaps recalling the days when women would literally throw their underwear at him.
The Not Unusual singer went on to admit that he has had "ups and downs" in his own 53-year marriage but has always remained happy and in love.
Sharing his success for romance with adulterous Owen of Take That and Boyzone's cheating Keating, Jones said that sharing new music with the missus works a treat.
