Infidelity to feature in Angelina Jolie biog

A leading celebrity author has warned US actress Angelina Jolie he will touch upon her alleged infidelities in a new biography he is penning on the star.

In an interview with US gossip magazine Star, British writer Andrew Morton, who has also written an expose on the relationship of Princess Diana and Prince Charles, hinted that his book will be a tell-all affair.

The author claims to have inside knowledge from those close to the Tomb Raider actress, with new details about how she started an extramarital relationship with the then married Brad Pitt.

"I interviewed dozens of her friends and associates, and they told me some fascinating facts about Angelina and her relationship with Brad [Pitt]," Morton told the news provider.

"She will have to wait to find out what's in it."

Jolie and Pitt are believed to have started their adulterous affair while the pair filmed the 2007 film Mr and Mrs Smith.

He was still married to Friends actress Jennifer Aniston at the time.

Jolie famously told reporters earlier this year that she does not think monogamy is "entirely necessary" in a relationship.
