LeAnn Rimes breaks silence on infidelity US country singer LeAnn Rimes has finally broken the silence regarding her extramarital liaisons.

In an interview with People magazine, the Can't Fight the Moonlight singer reveals how she believes she ultimately made the right decision when she decided to play away from home with married actor Eddie Cibrian.

Rimes admits that while their cheated spouses may have been upset to learn of their infidelity, she does "not regret the outcome".

The singer-songwriter said that the secret affair began after the pair worked together of the filming of TV movie Northern Lights in November 2008.

Suggesting the depth to which they fell for each other, Rimes told the news provider: "It was very emotionally driven."

While the adultery may have taken place almost two years ago, her discussions regarding her secret affair may come as a relief to other women who are involved in extramarital relationships.

Over the past few months, the media has been saturated with stories of celebrity men who have been getting a bit of nookie, leading many to believe that all girls are as good as gold.
