Infidelity has 'many different causes'

Infidelity has 'many different causes' There are a number of reasons why people choose to be unfaithful to their partners, according to an expert.

Speaking to the Mirror, television psychologist Dr Linda Papadopoulos explained that it is often hard to know the exact reasons driving men to be married but looking.

"Social psychologists would say it's down to the way young men are raised and what values are impressed upon them," she said.

"Behavioural psychologists would say guys cheat because of how they feel about themselves."

Both of these views are predicated upon the fact that having sex with a large number of men is something that is seen by many males as an inherently masculine thing to do.

She also noted that sex is one of the main ways through which men can feel intimate with a partner, whereas women can often get the same satisfaction from talking.

Ronan Keating is the latest celebrity to have been caught in his infidelity. The Irish singer was recently alleged to have had an adulterous affair with one of his backing dancers.
