Author has 'novel' approach to infidelity

An American author has taken the current phenomenon surrounding married dating to pen a book about adultery.

Don't Settle for any Old Soulmate, which is available through several online booksellers, offers a gritty realism about playing away from home.

The creation of Phoenix resident LR Lawrence, the book touches upon a number of issues surrounding unfaithful marriages, using real life stories as its inspiration.

However, to ensure that non of the subject matter are exposed as getting a bit on the side, the writer has altered the names of all those who spoke to him about their extramarital liaisons.

According to the creator, it offers a great read for anyone of adult age who is interested in relationships and love.

Fellow US author Tara Parker-Poe has paid tribute to what she coins the "rampant adultery" sweeping Western society.

Her most recent title, For Better: The Science of a Good Marriage, uses research about the animal kingdom as a metaphor for human infidelity.
