Technology making it harder for cheaters to cover their tracks
20 May 2010
Adulterers who are actively engaged in a secret affair may want to take extra measures to cover their tracks.According to ktla.com, modern technology is making it significantly easier for cheated spouses, with or without the aid of private investigators, to uncover extramarital liaisons.
"Cell phones that take pictures, GPS tracking devices, even a list of your credit card charges available over the internet, [all] were never a concern of cheaters years ago.
"Now, they're simple ways some cheaters are being caught," states the news provider.
It reveals some of the spyware that private investigators are using to catch out those being unfaithful, including small, light-weight cameras that can be slid underneath a hotel door.
Hidden cameras can also be fitted to everyday items such as pens, hats and glasses, meaning that it is easier to document the evidence and harder for the adulterer to say 'it wasn't me'.
Those playing away from home can take extra caution by using bespoke married dating sites to limit suspicion.
